Young Sir Rolland enrolls in the secret Woodshire Academy of Dragon Slaying to become a Knight of Light. Then the first and deadliest dragon, Pride, wounds him badly. With his guild master and a legendary Lady of Grace, he has to find healing and learn the one weapon that can slay it.
Kids get a name for the dragon underneath most of what they bring to confession, and a story about a boy who learned to fight it.
