Customized Baptism Candle Holder

We customize each candle holder by burning the child's name and baptism date into the wood. These candle holders encourage the parents to display the candle as a reminder that their child has received the light of Christ…and that light is entrusted to them to be kept burning brightly! Included with each candle holder is a placement with a custom poem written by John Wood explaining the sybolism of the candle holder.

Child’s Poem on Placemat:

The Fleur de Lis, with it’s color so blue,

Shows a saint in the making, water washed your soul new.

The white wood is a reminder of the garment and cross,

You’re a child of God and will never be lost.

You are now clothed with the glory of Christ,

Given the GRACE from His sacrifice.

Your initials and baptism date are burned in the wood,

Like the oil and chrism which sealed you for good,

Both have now left a permanent mark,

Like the flame of your candle which pierces the dark.

So let your candle burn brightly, like the light of the Son

Keep the flame of faith alive, til your journey is done.
