The Dragons Are Real.
Equip Your Child for the Battle That Matters Most.

When his father dies, young Rolland is sent by his grandfather to the remote Viaticus Islands — home to the hidden Woodshire Academy of Dragon Slaying.
There, he discovers a shocking truth:
The dragons he must face are not beasts of flesh, but deadly embodiments of the Seven Deadly Sins — dragons that don’t kill the body, but devour the soul.

Under the wise guidance of Father Thomas, Rolland and the other young squires are trained to wield the weapons of virtue...
to FACE, FIGHT, and DEFEAT the 7 Deadly Dragons!

STORY MATTERS

Stories are a powerful way to teach truth and one of the best evangelization tools we have, so we want to give parents and kids great stories that share the goodness, beauty, and truth of the Catholic faith. It was a true team effort, from the storylines to the illustrations and design. They are stories created by a family for families.

John Wood (aka Sir Rolland)
  • How Are These Catholic?

The stories contain Catholic prayers and devotions (such as the rosary), Sacraments, and Saints. Each story has obtained the Permission to Publish from Bishop Daniel Thomas of the Diocese of Toledo assuring they are 100% faithful to the teachings of the CatholicChurch.

  • Is the Lust book appropriate?

The book focuses on the "art of chivalry" and self-sacrifice. There is nothing inappropriate for kids but we always encourage parents to read first, and we hope the book starts important discussions to lay the foundation of chastity in your kids. We encourage you to read the Amazon reviews for the book as many parents address this question.

  • What age is this for?

The books are geared toward ages 7-13 which is the age of the primary character as the story unfolds, but we highly recommend it as a family read aloud. Parents and older siblings love the stories as well and they open up great conversations!
